ASHFORD AC Julie Rose Academy youngsters were outstanding in Tonbridge at the Kent indoor Sports Hall championships
With a strong team of 26 youngsters taking part from the Academy they  proved to be too strong for the opposition and against 32 teams from all over Kent managed to defend their title from 2008 and were  once again crowned Kent Sports Hall champions for 2009.
The Academy youngsters,  Sophie Pinney, Edward Miller, Laura Jakeman and Cameron Amadee swept the medal board with individual golds in the majority of events.
Eight  Julie Rose Academy youngsters have also been selected to represent Kent in January in the southern inter county Sports Hall championships.
They are Edward Miller, Cameron Amadee, Eve Graham, Joseph Whitby, Oliver Marsh, Jamee ann Heyes, Millie Issac and Amy Omakobi.
