Kent Cross Country League, 15 October, Stanhill Farm

The first Kent Cross league race of the season saw some fine debuts by several young athletes from Ashford Athletic Club.

In the U13 girls race , Anna Hinson ran a hard race over 2.7k and finished 55^th. Ciara Mackey finished in 35^th in the under 15 girls race.  Gabi Stannard ran the the under 17 race and finished in 30^th position. 

The senior women were Briony Walsh who finished in 44^th, Rebecca Dyer finished in 56^th and Jane Wheeler finished in 105^th. There were 135 competitors in the race. 

In the Under 17 mens race Marshall Smith came 14^th in a hotly contested race over 5.3km.  Aherome Goitomcame 12^th in the under 20 race. 

The senior men were Matt Britton who come 34^th and Kevin Williams 69^th, and first in the Masters 55 category. There were over 200 competitors in this race over 9.8k.
